Nursing Delegation

Conduct and analyze assessments, plan and evaluate nursing care including delegation.

Supervisor of Nursing

  • Review documentation, conduct in-services/training, consult with physicians as needed, and other duties as requested by the Provider
  • Supervision of nursing practice for LPNs

On-call Services

A Registered Nurse can be on call to assist/advise Provider staff as needed

Nursing Task Inventory

Nursing services are provided directly to an individual who requires skilled nursing services. An RN or LPN must provide these services. State Plan Home Health and/or State Plan Private Duty Nursing should be utilized whenever the individual’s nursing needs meet the requirements/restrictions of state plan services. Waiver-nursing services should only be used whenever unpaid supports, Medicare/private insurance benefits if applicable, community resources, medication administration/nursing delegation, and/or state plan nursing services, or combination of services, cannot meet the individual’s nursing care needs.

NEON can provide RNs to complete the  Nursing Task Inventory Form initially, annually and with a significant change in condition of the individual which initiates or changes nursing tasks at the request of County Boards.

Human Resource Administration

  • Registry checks upon hire and as mandated by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities
  • BMV driver abstracts (can be rechecked with a frequency determined by the Provider)
  • Schedule criminal records checks (FBI and BCI convictions)
  • Enrollment of employees into RAPBACK
  • Schedule pre-employment drug screenings and physical exams
  • New hire onboarding
  • DSP Initial Training/Annual Training
  • Other Human Resources-related functions upon request
